Irons and candles are a no no on cruise ships. I think there might be an iron in the self-sevice laundry areas on some ships. Not all ships have them...

I'm not very good at breaking rules. Makes me uncomfortable.
I either use the wrinkle releaser spray, or send things for pressing, shich is VERY affordable.
I take a small travel iron (not allowed),but I am super super careful with it.

I always take travel size items with me along with the standard over the counter meds for every situation. Carnival had a large dispenser in the shower with shampoo and body wash. On the bathroom counter there was a basket filled with soap, lotion, disposable razors and a packet of orange power drink that was similiar to Tang. This stuff was really good, so I asked my steward for a few extra packs. He placed two packs in the basket everyday, which I believe was supposed to be a one shot deal. He was very happy on the last day. Here's a bad shot of the bathroom with the amenities basket. I think this was after I took out some items for use or put some in the medicine cabinet.
