As I said, everything is subjective and what one person likes, another will dislike and vice versa. We've sailed Celebrity 3 times and HAL 4 times, and we like both of them for different reasons. Never thought of either of them as upgrade to the other. It can also depend on the particular ships. For example, I'd never compare the Galaxy with the Eurodam - two entirely different types of ships and to compare them would be doing a dis-service to both. Some people love small ships while others want the mega-ships. And lastly, people can have either good or bad experiences on their cruises which would also influence their opinions on one cruise line versus another.

I have clients that absolutely hate one cruise line while another client will swear they are the best cruise line out there. Guess that's why there are so many different cruise lines offering different experiences, different ships, different itineraries, and different amenities.

There are many things that influence people's likes and dislikes - after all, that is what makes the world go around.

As I said, it's important for people to try various lines until they find one or two they like and then enjoy their vacations.

I would love to convince you to try NCL. But, you seem to prefer the formality of traditional cruising/dining. Sometime when you are looking to be a little less formal, you may want to take a look at NCL with its' Freestyle Cruising.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

A bad day at sea is better than a good day at work.

Actually, we've been on NCL three times (Norway, Star, & Dawn) and are tentatively planning a 12-night Med cruise next year on the brand new Jade - love the itinerary they have.

I really like NCL cruises, except a couple of their ships. They have very good food, good service, and very nice ships. We like the freestyle dining and the variety of eating places.

The only thing I don't like about NCL is their Hawaii products, but that's not really their fault - it's the stupid government regulations. And I really don't like dealing with their corporate structure. I could write a book on problems we've had with them. Of all the cruise lines, they are the worse to deal with.

But overall their product is very good. In fact, I have clients that will only sail on NCL as they are very pleased with the quality and value.

    Cool Cruise Planner

From you comments you obviously know your clientel and their likes and dislikes.

That is the key to a great TA. You impress me as being one. Amber, our current TA, is also like that and that is why we keek her and refer to her.

    Have a great week
