    Fascination vs Magic or Wonder

How does the size of the Fascination compare with Dinsey's Magic or Wonder?

To compliment Janice's info., here's some ship facts from Disney Cruise Lines website on the Magic & Wonder:

    http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dc...ingPage&bhqs=1

And from Carnival's website on the Fascination:

    Carnival Cruise Lines

One big difference between Disney's ships, and those of other cruise lines including Carnival, is the lack of Casinos on Disney ships.

Wow, I don't think I'll ever be booking a Disney cruise then.

Comparing size is one thing, but comparing the Disney ships to the Fascination is literally like comparing night and day. In other words, they are all ships, but that's about all they have in common.

The Fascination is fun, but there are many other ships I'd recommend that are better and nicer.

And yes, if a casino is important to you, you don't want Disney. But what they lack in gambling, they more than make up in food, service, and quality.

If you want a casino and a short cruise, check out the RCCL Enchantment of the Seas or the Navigator of the Seas - both are wonderful ships with the Navigator being a huge ship.

I have been on both Disney ships. I know what they offer and do not offer. We have out grown them. Not saying I would not go back on one of their ships. I also think they are way overpriced for a cruise. For me to go back on one it would have to be the cheapest cruise option and I seriously doubt that is going to happen.

I have not been on the Fascination but I have been on the Celebration and I am booked on the Fantasy (which is the same class as the Fascination) and the Pride.

I know both "experiences" are night and day different. What I want to know is ...
    Actual size difference (length)
How many people does the ship hold

Also I am interested in knowing about what the Fascination offers in way of pool, hot tub, movies (?), slide, rock climbing, etc...

Does that help in answering my question? I hope so.

I am really wanting to know if they compare in that way. I figured they are about the same size and I see that they are very close in length. I think I am trying to get into my head how to compare the size to the size of the Wonder/Magic. No comparsion with the experience what so ever. For me I have been there and do not really care to do Disney again. We have been on the Wonder twice and the Magic once. We are over Disney. We are more into the adult not Disney experience. Not to put them down or anything I just am not a huge Mickey have to do it fan of the cruise.

The Fascination is of interest since it will be within an easy driving distance to us. I wanted to put the ship into my experience of size to know what to expect in the size of the ship.

Pete, we have been on the Enchantment and loved her but we also love Carnival and look forward to going on the Fascination one day. Ft Lauderdale is not a driveable drive for us and that makes the cost of the cruise much more. Jax is doable for a drive.
