Thread: Celebrity Summit

Hello all,
have just booked Celebrity Summit ex San Juan next spring; our first 2 cruses were on Carnival, and though they were most enjoyable, we were looking for something a little different. We liked the itinerary of the Summit, but have heard all kinds of positive and negative reviews. We are in our mid-fourties, travelling with a 9 year old, and care little about onboard entertainment. For us the important things are fine dining, visiting nice islands and that my son has a minimum amount of activities to keep him busy when we are on the ship (1 full day, and upon our return late in the afternoon). We are not looking for the 20's crowd but nor are we looking for the 65+ crowd. Also, we are booked in the Concierge Class. Can anyone tell us what to expect on this cruise ?

I've only been on the Summit for just a few hours for a tour so all I can say is that it looks gorgeous.

Hi and welcome! We were on the Summit. It is a beautiful ship. They have staff and activities for kids. If you are going during a school break, there will be lots. As for the ages of the pax, there are so many that you will find all ages. Again, if it is during a school break, you will find more families.
