    EST Mexican dining question

As you know I live on the East Coast and we are on EST. Which would be a better diningrime on a Mexican Riveria cruise? Early or Late?

I think you would like the early dining choice better because that, if it's at 6:00-6:30pm will be 9:00 to 9:30 your time, and you'll be starving by then!!! Besides, you will then have the evening for shows, casino, whatever you like to do before you are REALLY tired.
Have a great cruise, whatever you do...........

How does the time difference in Mexico change things?

I have the early requested and all of my friends on the left coast tell me to do the early as well.

Besides, by the second day you should be adjusted to the Mexico time zones. What are your personal preferences, do you like to eat early or late at home? That should be one of the major factors.

Twice we had west, cst, and est on a get together cruise, all had no problem with late seating,as we do not like to rush from a port stop to early dining.

Agree with Neal and Seamus! It's amazing how quickly you will adjust to the three hour difference. If you are use to eating late at home, do the late seating.

I prefer late as well. I'm doing early on the next one but only because I'm taking the kids

The time in Mexico does not change things, the only difference is that you will be on PACIFIC time instead of your usual EASTERN time. Pacific time is three hours earlier than Eastern time.
Please forgive me for postng an opinion................it OBVIOUSLY would be the correct thing to do to eat at the late seating, and I hope you change to that since everyone else seems to think, and you seem to think, that that would be the most convenient for you.

DD, I'm sorry you took offense as I'm positive no one intended to offend you in any way. We were just stating our own opinions as well. Your idea was a sound one that made sense but it looks like some just prefer late seating.

No matter what time zone I am coming from and going to I always do late dinning. It is my personal preference. I like having time to get back to the ship on port days. I also tend to eat late at home.

You will adjust very quickly to the time change and if you are used to eating late go late if you are used to eating early go early.
