    Sea days or port days?

When you cruise are you going on the cruise for the sea days or do you like the days in port more? I know Mom would stay on the ship when we hit Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta because she had been there so many times. She and her sister would just relax on the near empty ship. For them they prefered the sea days.

I enjoy the fact that you get to see so many different places and not have to change hotels.

Mostly the sea days for me....I like to see a few things, but if I had to choose between a ten day cruise with 8 ports and an 8-day cruise to nowhere, I'd always choose the latter....

I could do a cruise to no where if that was the plan. If I book a cruise for the ports I enjoy going to the ports. It is nice to see new places. I love the beach too.

Sea days for me, I book the ship and one with the most sea days. We do go into port, but no more than a couple of hours, looking around and talking with the locals!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I have always gone on 7 day 3 port cruises. I can say I don't like 5 day 3 ports as well. Not enough time to enjoy the ship and sea days.

We normaly do not spend more than a couple hours on shore.
I like both, but prefer sea days.

for me it, its really about the port days. i have such limited vacation time that i would rather see as much as possible rather than relax at sea. i can do that some other time.

for instance, my last 12 day cruise only had 2 sea days.

my next 10 day cruise next year only has 1 sea day.

    perfect for me.
