Thread: Carnvial vs RCCL

My husband and I have been on 7 Carnival cruises which we really enjoyed but for our next cruise, Jan 07, we decided to try RCCL and will be on Radiance of the Seas on an 8 day Eastern Caribbean. Can someone tell us the their opinion between the two cruise lines?

In my opinion, there's very little difference.. We were on the Radiance and had a great time.. Any differences I noticed, were minor.. I'd be surprised if you came home unhappy.. I tend favor Carnival more, but if the price was right, I'd grab a cruise on RCCI in a heartbeat.. I know that this post really doesn't say much, but there just isn't a big difference..:

RCCL seems to have more sport activities, like their rock climbing walls etc.
I think in general, there are more similarities than differences between mass-market cruise lines. It's a 'keeping up with the Jones' thing!

Glad to hear that both lines are good. But then for me it would take an awful lot to discourage me because I feel a bad cruise ( never had one ) has to better than a good day at work!

I have been on both and will most likely continue on both. Not to many differences as stated. With us, it depends on where we would like to cruise too. Then we pick the cruise line and price to go with. Good Luck!
