Pier 21 is the Ellis Island of Canada.
At the bottom left of the screen you can see a circle.
The Statue in that circle is of Cunard, a Canadian entrepreneur founder of the famous line.

Queen Mary 2 is visiting Halifax on 30 Oct 2010. The same days as I leave Venice to cruise to New York.

I will try to remember that , we are having a Halloween party

I took this picture 2 years ago while in Halifax aboard the QM2. I think they have moved the statue, I don't remember it being that close to the terminal. I shall find out on the 30th because I'm back there again, on the QM2 (of course).

It is now quite close to the Terminal and doesn't have those railings in your picture so they must have moved it.
