    Panama canal - multi webcams

The Panama Canal has had a webcam for quite a while and I have been viewing it for many years now before and after we cruised through the canal on the Vision of the Seas in 2000.

The have taken things a mighty step forward and now have lots of webcams all along the canal.

to go to the website control room Multimedia - PanCanal.com

    Happy viewing

Very cool webcam assortment. I would like to take a cruise that passes through the Panama Canal some time.

Cool webcams, thanks for posting this.

We were on a cruise that stopped in Colon and took an excursion that went from the lake to the Pacific. Some day I hope to take a cruise that the ship goes thru but at least I can say I have been on the canal and thru the locks. Because of the ferry boats having to go thru with any ships that are there the excursion endedup being 3 hours longer than the line had posted but of course with over 300 people from the ship being on the excursion the ship waited.

Paul, I agree! The Panama Canal cruise is special. We did this in 2001 on the inaugural cruise of the Radiance of the Seas. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked another cruise for next April on Celebrity Infinity from Ft. Lauderdale to Seattle, WA. Now that we are retired, we are going to do a B2B and stay on the ship and do the Infinityh's first cruise to Alaska. This will be a 26 day cruise--our longest yet. We can't wait!

The canal webcams are Great! Sailing the canal is even better. We will make our second transit next OCT and I am really looking forward to seeing it all again.

Yes it sounds great but unfortunately the dates clash with our visit to our Spanish villa with our daughter - dates can't be changed as she is a teacher.

Have you and Bob done a Baltic cruise on the Jewel? we are on the 22nd August 2011 cruise from Harwich - do you fancy that one? Our friend owns a shore excursion company in St. Petersbourg and is arranging a special 2-day tour for our group.

Paul, we did that one in 2006 on the Jewel. It's a great cruise, but boy is it a busy one! We needed a vacation from our vacation when it was over.

We're also on the Eclipse transatlantic cruise Oct. 31, 2011 from Southampton to Miami.
