    Google Earth Search

I am not sure where this would go, but since Google Earth is sort of like a cam I figured here might work.

I have been searching Google Earth to see if I can find cruise ships in various ports worldwide ( yes, I have too much time on my hands)

    So far I have found:

Port of Miami - Freedom of the Seas, Carnival Triumph, Carnival Victory

Port Everglades- Grand Princess, 2nd unidentifiable Princess Ship

    Port Canaveral- RCCL, Disney, Carnival

NYC- Celebrity, Queen Mary 2 ( at pier 92)

    Philadelphia - United States

New Orleans - Peaceboat ( former Song of Norway)

    Mobile - Carnival Ectasy?

    Galveston - Carnival

Eluthera ( Princess Cays) 2 Princess ships

    St. Thomas (WICO) Carnival

    St. Maarten - RCCL

    San Diego- HAL

Los Angeles/Long Beach - Queen Mary

    San Francisco- Unindentifable Cruise ship

    Sydney- QE2

Maghera, Italy - Eurodam ( under construction) along with Sistership in drydock

    Southampton- Thompson Cruise ship

    What else can you find?

Is that ship on it's side, or is it just a very unusual angle?

Just thought I would say, the ship at Southampton is actually Ocean Village 2

Looks like that ship is on it's side and is being held upright with the two moorings you see directly next to is and the lines running to them.

Thanks for the confirm on Ocean Village 2. I thought it was, but wasn't 100% sure.

Yep! That ship capsized while at port when Typhoon Maemi hit the port of Pusan in 2003. Here's a little info on the story: Google Earth Blog: Capsized Cruise Ship Captured in Google Earth / Maps

I used to have a thing on Google Earth that showed you the positions of various cruise ships around the world.
I think it might have been this, though I;m not sure:
