I see the webcam links have changed.

    Forward:
Carnival Cruise Lines - WebCam - Carnival Liberty

    Aft:

Sneak? Moi? On Carnival I just lock it in my luggage, packed carefully if still in the original container.

Just got back from my second cruise. I always wondered how the cruise lines can xray 4000 pcs of luggage for booze and get them to your room by 3pm... well I got my bottles of gin vodka and vermouth to my room alright. only problem is the airlines are charging for over weight bags now so you have to be careful. some people say the booze on the cruise is a resonable price. you have to keep in mind they are serving you a half a drink at full bar price. when you ask for a normal size drink it can cost you 12.00 each. they got ya unless you bring some of your own booze.

On Carnival, you can order bottles of liquor through the Bon Voyage department.

$40-$55/litre, but still cheaper than buying by the drink.

NCL is very good at xraying luggage and locating liquor.

I just got back from Carnival and put all my liquor in shampoo and body spray bottles. Thought I had them washed them out really good. They all made it to the room....I'm so sneaky!!! Well, it was so bad tasting that my underaged daughters refused to drink it!! ! That is pretty bad....Must have been worse than the skunk beer I used to drink.

Anyway, had lots of "Drink of The Day". They were pretty good and if you keep your glass it is $1.00 off. They were $6.95 in the big yellow glass plus tip.

    Didn't want to come home!!!

Interesting view from the Liberty cameras, especially since we'll be on board at the end of the month. As to the question about taking booze on board, my husband has a small flask which he fills, then carefully wraps in an article of clothing and buries it in other clothes to prevent breakage. He also goes to as many "free parties" as he can, such as the Captain's party and the past guest party, and keeps the servers busy every time they come by with a tray a drinks.
