Hi swom!! Welcome to CLF!! I haven't sailed her but we have lots of Princess fans here that will hopefully help you out!! We have great members here, make yourself at home!! Glad you joined!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Considering this ship will make it's debut think in late April or May I can't say what I think about it. Someday I'll get to sail on her.

I would suggest that you ask in a couple of months, after the ship has been launched.....

THAT would explain why I haven't seen anything written about her here. LOL
Sorry, I jumped the gun. I saw a cruise I liked and started investigating the ship. It's just my nature.

hey, i'm new here too...but i've been on a few cruises already...I have to say that Princess is definitely my favorite cruise line. I think it's the best mix of elegance and fun. I definitely plan to do the Crown within the next year or so.
Been on: Golden Princess (twice), Grand Princess, NCL Star, NCL Dawn, NCL Sun, Carnival Triumph, RCCL Empress of the Seas

Going to be on: RCCL Freedom of the Seas, NCL Star (again)

The Crown Princess makes her inaugural sailing on June 14, 2006. She is a sister ship to the Caribbean Princess. I think she may carry a few less pax than the CB. She does the Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Good for back to back cruises.

Hi Swom, I sailed aboard the Crown Princess Thanksgiving week. It's an awesome ship, it's got just a three deck Atrium, and it's a massive vessel. Max. passenger capacity is 3,599, and a full crew complement of 1,200. There were 3,200 onboard when I sailed. There are 19 decks. You can read my review for more.
