Sabatini's is very good!

Crown Grill is excellent!!

I definitely recommend both of them.

By the way, the Crown Grill has a saltwater tank where they keep their Maine and Brazilian lobsters alive until you order them.

Thanks so much, Pete!

We're planning to be on Emerald Princess for a B2B so wanted to know about these.

Some people say they would never eat at the specialty restaurants because they've paid for their food and can't see paying more to eat other places. To that I say they have no idea what they're missing! We've eat at just about every specialty restaurant on our 30 cruises and we've always thoroughly enjoyed them. Some are obviously better than others, but we've always felt it was well worth the extra few bucks for a fabulous meal that's also very romantic.

Besides, the extra price is not so much for the food but also a gratuity for the servers. They always ask for an extra gratuity, but it's not really necessary.

One of our all-time favorites has been the Pinnacle Grill on Holland America. But the Crown Grill ranks at the top of our list of favorites.

Pete can you order a lobster as well as steak???

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

We did Sabatini's on the Grand a few years ago, and were basically overwhelmed by the amount of food. The food and service were excellent and worth the extra payment. We hope to try the Crown on the Emerald next month, and also do the Chef's Table one night.

Don't know if you can order both together - didn't try that, but you can order steak or lobster in the Crown Grill. Can't remember if they had a surf-n-turf on the menu.

Sabatini's and The Crown Grill are both excellent. Be prepared to spend about 3 hours when dining in Sabatini's. Everything is very relaxed. You will partake of every appetizer in small portions. Very nice.

That sounds really nice! Love the idea of an "Appertizer Assortment"!
