Thread: Martha Stewart confirmed Crown Princess Godmother

Martha Stewart has been selected to serve as the godmother for Crown Princess. She will name the ship at New York’s Brooklyn Cruise Terminal during a June 14 ceremony.

The naming will be the first at the Brooklyn facility. That same evening the 3,080-berth Crown Princess will sail on its maiden voyage, kicking off a summer season of roundtrip nine-day Caribbean cruises.


Princess president Alan Buckelew called Stewart a ‘style icon’ who has had ‘more influence on how Americans entertain, cook and decorate and design in and around their homes than almost anyone in history.’

I have to agree.

To me, this looks like she is being rewarded for being a criminal...not only by doing the Apprentice series but now this.

There must be far more worthy people out there that they could have chosen from, surely.
