Thread: Crown Princess 6/17/2007

Good morning everyone! It's 57 and cloudy here but we did get some much needed rain last night. After all the rain we had a couple of months ago I never would have thought we needed it but we did. We got a whole 1/4 inch but that's better than nothing.

I need to call Hilton Honors now and see about making the reservation at the Millenium Hotel for the 16th. I'm glad I didn't do it last night afterall. Last night the website was showing that it took 60,000 pts. for a one night stay and this morning it says 40,000. Whoo hoo!! Must be a slow Saturday night in New York or something.

Well that was painless. Hilton Honors is great! Everything is taken care of now. All we have to do is wait ONE MORE MONTH!!

Yes, thanks again. We got the last honors reservation at that hotel too. It's $299 a night to stay there. Free is good!!

I went to bed way too late for me -- got into bed and read for probably another hour and I'm just wiped-out this a.m. Even with caffeinated coffee, I'm still struggling! LOL!

Sorry you're so tired Sonia. When I would be like that at work, especially if it was a slow day, all I could think about was how great it would be to be back in kindergarten and have someone tell me to take a nap, LOL.

I just got back from Menard's where I bought another ceiling fan to match the other one I put in a few weeks ago. Now I'll replace the one in the living room so they match, LOL. It was on sale again so I thought I'd better get it while it was on sale and I could still get that style.

Of course, between here and Menard's is a Marshall's so you can guess what I did there. They have redone the store and now have a real nice shoe department. I tried a bunch on but talked myself out of any of them. I really did not need shoes anyway. I did buy 2 new tops, also not needed but that's different , a really cool denim jacket for cheap, cheap, cheap and a new pendant for my silver necklace.

Now I'm starting to panic about packing for the cruise. When we were driving it wasn't a big deal but all of a sudden I'm realizing I'll have to be careful about weight and stuff. Then it dawned on me we won't be able to take our wine or a case of bottled water to mix in crystal lite and vodka, hahaha. I may not even be able to take my ipod dock, boo hoo. Kent wants to try to go with only 3 suitcases. Three or four, what's the difference? We'll probably need one whole suitcase just for our evening clothes and my shoes. I suppose I could plan to do a couple of loads of laundry but I don't want to. I'm on vacation!!!! Do you think we will need a lightweight jacket at all? I doubt it but you never know. Even though it was really, really, really, really, really, really humid when we were in the caribbean in March it still felt chilly in the evenings if you were outside for any length of time. It was that damp kind of chilly ya know?

Ok, I'm rambling, sorry...........................
