Sailyn, I agree with you about the limited help from the National government. In addition, the State government is in a "twist" with Carnival over debris removal of their dock/port area. That may explain why so many Carnival ships have been diverted to Costa Maya. The Cozumel folks are really doing a good job with tendering thousands of people, but of course they are at the mercy of wind and weather (like the Grand Caymans). That may adversely impact their revenue over the long haul.
When my son was there last week, they were still claiming the "downtown" pier would be back by late September. Who knows...
We really grew to love Coz and the resilient people on our visit in January 2006 - we wish them the best!

    Cozumel tender or Docked

I have been searching for info on Cozumel docks. I would like to advise my clients on the situation in Cozumel. If any of you have information or have ready any thing about this, please let me know. I deal with a lot of disabled customers who do not want to do tender ports. So this is very important to me. Thanks!

We were there in February, I'd say that this is a very fair assement
