Thread: Cozumel - Hurricane Ida

Ships are ot arriving at the Cozxumel harbor just now, as Hurricane Ida is in the vacinity.

Last word from Carnival was that the Legend would be visiting Ocho Rios instead of Cozumel on Monday.

Luckily, the center of the storm, where the 90 ph winds are, may pass just offshore of the island.

"We'll get some wind and rain, but that's about it," said James Watts, 34, part of a family from British Columbia, Canada that runs The Summer Place Inn and a real estate firm on the island of Cozumel, near Cancun. Employees at the inn weren't taping up or boarding over windows, but Watts said small boats would be pulled ashore.

Information is scant Sue. Hope others are looking besides just me, because I'm not finding a lot

Surprising any would port with a hurricane is in the area. Wouldn't want to be caught in there.

They won't. It won't be allowed. They are probably still scrambling to get berths or spaces in other ports, so haven't solidified alternate itineraries yet.
Hopefully, they will announce them when they know for sure where they will go.
