Thumbs down Cozumel - Senor 1/2 Frogs

I would say this is really a place to avoid. It is by the RCCL Peir. The service is terrible. They have more obnoxious girls blowing those #$#$%^ whistle as they try to get you to do shots. They ae not even good looking. Need to dump all but one shot girl and add servers. Nachos we had were bland. The nachos I had over at Playa Mia earlier that day were much better.

I certainly agree with you, Chuck. We had a couple of margaritas there and found the atmosphere rather obnoxious. We like the "Bar With No Name" much better!

Here's the deal with Carlos 1/2

It doesn't even compair with the full version down the road! That's obvious. I don't even think it was meant to. We almost always Cruise Royal and have been here many times. We go down to the Full C&C (forget the frogs too) eat drink and be merry! We stagger and cab it back to C&1/2 about an hour or two before the ship leaves. It's right next to the ship and you can get a few more drinks. Forget the service people. Belly up to the bar get your drinks and be happy. Trust me, if you treat it as a last stop you will enjoy it much better.

Ah, yes - Carlos 'n Charlies in Cozumel! You either love it or hate it!

You don't go there for the food - overpriced and not that good. You go there for the party! And if you p-a-r-t-y, it's the wild & crazy place to go! For us, we have to stop there just before going back to the ship - can't take it for long - very noisey - but it's a must do or we feel we missed something if we don't make it.

Best time is after 9:00pm, but only Carnival stays there late enough to really enjoy it and those passengers can get really wild & crazy!

Yeah we were there in November 2006 and the place was dead except for our group and the service was lacking. DH and I left and paid our bill and when the rest of the group left they tried to stick them with our drinks again.
