Weather in the Gulf

Just curious how the weather usually is this time of year when cruising from Tampa to Cozumel. I don't like rough seas and I heard that it could be that way at times. Any truth to it?

We've only done this on cruises in JANUARY and Early February. The first day out and the last day back normally are a bit rocky ... as well as the Grand Cayman stop.

BUT ... on our last time doing this (same time of year) it was very calm. Too calm for those of us who like to "rock & roll" a bit.

My Signature LuLu ...
