Any recommendations on what to do while in Cozumel. Is there time to do the park (sorry cannot remember the name) and also have a walk around the shops and port please?

My personal favorite is Paradise Beach. I've never been to the park that I can't spell either. lol Lots of fun places, good food & drinks & shopping everywhere in Coz. Hope you have a wonderful time.

We've taken a taxi several times and gone to Chankanaab. It is a nice park, a good beach with some covered palapas. The snorkeling is good, you can go in right from the beach. You can rent equpment there or bring your own. There are lockers you can rent to put your stuff in if both of you will be in the water at the same time. Bring a towel from the ship, and go early, before all of the ship's tours get there. That way you'll find a good spot on the beach.

Fiesta Party Boat is fun if you like that sort of thing. Passion Island is also beautiful. It looks just like the Corona commercials that are filmed there.

We've rented cars and scooters several times and toured the island.. The back side has miles of deserted beaches and little beach bars scattered along the shore.. I find the shopping the best in Cozumel (as I've said before).
