AI resorts or nice beaches

I have been to Paradise Beach a few times and really am not too impressed. What are some other places to go. They can be AI or even beaches like Paradise.

For adults who want a more adult atmosphere, for an AI I recommend Nachi Cocom (by reputation only). For adults who want a more quiet atmosphere but not the AI price (free ala carte beach) I recommend Mr Sanchos. We have been going there for years before Paradise Beach opened up. Not a lot for kids to do, but nice for adults.

For young adults who want a little "more" on the active crazy side...Playa Mia. You can to the AI or ala carte. They charge $8 or 9 bucks to get in.

We continue to go to Paradise Beach because the boys like the water toys...and we have gotten to know Tom.

We have been to Nachi twice and always had a great time.
Not alot of water toys and not sure it would be enough excitement for a teen, but for adults it is nice. Great food and drinks. Not crowded at all and the service was excellent. We are going again this February.

If you're not 100% set on Cozumel, there are some outstanding AI resorts on the Mayan Riviera. We've been to several of them and have had some wonderful times.

There is a new place called Playa Mia that people are raving about it looks to be similar to Paradise Beach except a little bigger.

Playa Mia is not particularly new, but you should know that it is the beach of choice for MANY cruise ship tours. On their website you can find the list of cruise lines and their tours that stop there. I've never been there and have no intention of going.
Playa Mia Grand Beach Park Cozumel Mexico, Beach Club, Bars & Restaurant in Cozumel Mexico

San Francisco Beach is immediately adjacent to Paradise Beach and I believe has an AI package available. Carlos and Charlie's Beach club is immediately north of that.

Playa Uva's has an all inclusive available - actually a number of packages I think. Some cruise ship tours might stop here, but they usually don't stay long. They have the clear kayaks here.
PlayAuvas.com - Tour Company

Reef Club did have an all inclusive day pass, but has recently become a Wyndham, so not sure if that continues.

If you haven't been to Chankanaab, there is lots to do there, but there is an admission fee. They also have some packages available.

Smile Try Passion Island

Hi, I am fairly new to this site, but I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know about this place!

We recently went to Cozumel and my cousin suggested we go there. It's where some of the Corona beer commercials are filmed. It was beautiful. We traveled via taxi, then took a boat over to the island. When we got there, a guide showed us around and told us about the lunch and open bar. This place is all inclusive, they have plenty of chairs and palapas, plus hammocks to nap in. They had activities for the kids, too. There were just two kids on the island the day we were there. I think there were maybe 60 adults; so it was a very quiet place.

It was one of the best days I have ever had and I can't wait to go back. I am not affiliated with this place at all, but just wanted to offer it as a suggestion. We loved it!
