Yes, I highly recommend it. I think it is perhaps the best shore snorkeling in Cozumel - not that any snorkeling is as great as it was pre-Wilma. Chankanaab is a national park so is well maintained and has the financial means to continue to improve. In a couple of weeks I will be back in Cozumel and am supposed to check out Punta Sur (another national park at the south end of the island. For more info and a discount coupon:
