I here from several other boards that it isn't all that great. Has anyone been yet? It is fairly new and we are huge Parrotheads. We have been to 4 other Margaritaville's and have been pleased. Let me know what you've heard?

We were there Tuesday for an hour (after spending the morning at Paradise Beach) just to get the feel of the place and I liked it. They had one "host" who was leading the festivities (dances, conga, singing etc). He was a cutie! There were two waitress that were selling the shots...but they were not doing the vulger stuff when someone bought one...they were doing the cute stuff (shaking their head, rubbing their shoulders and popping them on top of the head).
We did not walk out to the patio, but I believe hubby saw some water trampolines behind their place when we docked. But I could be wrong about that. I don't believe they have a "beach"...just a deck...so I don't know if you can swim from there or not.
We will be back in December...I will do a better job of getting some details.
I do know that regular frozen margaritas are $7.90.
Also, as we walked down the sidewalk, there was a gentleman handing out business cards for them. This got you VIP seating and free calamari (a huge plate)!!

musicalcruiser~ did you like the margaritaville? What are your thoughts?
We go in April- and are going on the dune buggies, but when we finish up...something different is always nice.
Thanks!

I wasn't that impressed with the exterior, but did not go in.

Not too impressive honestly...no beach, some floats for fun...but that is it...there are plenty of better places to visit...for those who want music and entertainment and Cheeseburgers...you may want to visit the brand new Carlos n Charlies beach club right next to San Francisco Beach....nice beach!
We have been there.
I am a HUGE parrotthead, from wayback.
I was not too impressed with this location, now, that being said:
Being a Parrotthead it is part of 'the code' that we go to give "Bubba" some of our money when ever we are anywhere near a Margaritaville.
So, It is worth a trip to say youve been, but it is not (IMP) the best one there is.
When we were there, there were a few little issues (service, quility of food, etc) I discretely "Artfully Complained" to a manager and he was wonderful... as a matter of a fact he completely made up for the unfortante experiences that I spoke to him about. He bought us drinks (not the cheap ones) for a few hours at the bar. By the time I stumbled back to the ship, I had forgot that I was not having a good time before I spoke to him.
In Short his Customer Service efforts greatly paid off and I have been back a few times since.
It is what you expect. But like I said, not the best one, but still its *Margaritaville*

We were just there last week!
Kandy summed it up perfectly. Had to go just to say we've been there, but was not overly impressed. We also went to Carlos n Charlies' and to Senior Frogs, but have the same thing to say - been there, done that, but not impressed.
There all fun, but we don't go there for the food. Found other places with better food and some other ones that offer 2-4-1 happy hour with better prices on drinks.
And speaking of drinks, the best price for alcohol is at one of the two large super markets - their prices are much better than anywhere else. Bought a bottle of tequila that runs $40 here at home and it was $13 there. The 'duty free' liquor store on the pier had it for $26. We were on Disney, who allows you to bring booze on board for consumption, so we brought 3 bottles of tequila and a 12 pack of beer to our cabin.
