It was something. Watch for the body shots.

    A new theme for Coz?

    Let me see...

How about..."What happens in Cozumel stays in Cozumel???"

That sounds familiar for some reason...

It must have been terrible. I was lucky it didn't happen to me, when I was there.

Hi Ed - The crabs you saw were most likely Blue Land Crabs, and can be found in Southern Florida as well as all over the Caribbean. The don't venture far from the coast line, as they lay there eggs in the ocean.

Here's a PG rated picture, I took, of the Mexican archeological protected site, containing the Mayan ruins.

Does anybody know the condition of the piers?
    Are they tendering now?
    Hi,
I was just in cozumel and they have made great strides.
    We docked.
They are really building like crazy.
You can still see alot of the damage but it won't hinder you having a great time and bartering for great deals.
    GO AND ENJOY!!!

    Yeah

I am glad to hear that things are looking better in Coz. We were there last November and things were pretty sad, I felt terrible for the residents. It has always been one of my favorite ports and we will be there again in October. Any suggestion as to which beach would be good at this point?
    Have a GREAT day! Gayla

    Docking Cozumel

International Pier is open. Can handle only one ship. Contract is with RCI so either a Royal caribbean or celebrity ship gets to dock.
    Everyone else still tenders.
Island has finally turned green again. Lots of improvements taking place.

    Just back this past Sunday.

    Hi,:
Not sure what your looking for, but if you like snorkling we got 2 c an octopus while snorkling on playa ouva, we first went 2 playa corona and that was nice 2.
At playa ouva they charged this time of year 2 get on the beach , but made up for it with a free drink ticket that covered the entry fee, so I was thrilled, unfortunately one of the reasons we loved palya ouva so much besides the great snorklingoff the beach was the cool little store that is there, it closed b4 we left and didn't get 2 shop there this time around, COZUMEL is 1 of my FAVORITE PORTS!!!!
The people are very friendly and they take no for an answer better then the people/vendors in costa maya, also a nice place 2 snorkle, if that's what your into.
Bring your own gear though, 2 many bodily fluids involved 2 chance.
