hi everyone,
I'm an Italian cruiseship Front Desk Operator. I'm sorry for your bad experience. Some aspects you mentioned are true. Something is going to change from 2010 about services ad extra payments.

Thank you for welcoming me. I'm now offshore and I'll come back onboard at the end of March. I'm avalible for all questions, I'll post in the new space when it will be ready.
Again, many thanks.

Children are not allowed to run amok the ship either. They have programs to keep the kids and teens occupied, so what I'm learning from you is a total shock. I'm a travel agent, and when I attend Costa's webinars, and learn about their service in the Western, Eastern Med. Dubai, Asia and Western Europe and the Baltics, I get a vastly different picture from the one you painted. We are told about the kids programs, great food, pleasant atmosphere onboard, and all the good stuff we are accustomed to here.
Really? It is to my knowledge that children have a choice to go and use the programs if they wish. I have been going on cruises with Costa ever since I was a small boy, and my parents never sent me to their "Squak" Club.
