In Costa Rica it is the same thing, Canopy or Zip Line. Around Limon we have 3 different Canopy.

Limon is really a poor area, I highly recommend to visit the Caribe sur area, south of Limon. Or Tortuguero Canals. San Jose the capital is not worth the long ride (3 hours each way)
You can have private Tours organized just for you. To Cahuita, Rescue centers, Puerto Viejo, Manzanillo. You can build up your day Tour as you wish. You don't have to pay ahead.
