Thanks for the visual, Bill! Your pictures show more than any words could convey. I see the hole in the fence is still there!

Yep---still much work to be done, but at least the commerce can start to infuse some capital into the economy.

    Bill,

We are taking a similar cruise over Christmas. We will be on the Jewel and are stopping at Belieze City and Costa Maya as well. What were the temperatures like?

well, looks like the spirit of capitalism is shining brightly still in Costa Maya. I found this web site abiut a privat tour operator while surfing the web:

Welcome to the all new and updated Costa Maya Cruise Excursions website!!!
Whether your ultimate tour is snorkeling, magnificent Mayan Ruins tours, pampered resort beach day visits, ATV tours, Wave Runner Tours, the fantastic Costa Maya Zip Line Canopy Tour or getting away from it all our tours and excursions will make your Mahahual visit the most memorable destination of your Caribbean cruise!
Puerto Costa Maya and Mahahual are back more beautiful than ever and awaiting your arrival.

Has anyone just returned from Costa Maya, or do you have a cruise booked in the near future that includes a stop there?

    If so - PLEASE SHARE!
