I think they didn't want the competition with their headline. As if they are, in any way, an exclusive source of information.

I'm going to assume that by the dark side you mean C.C. We have many friends over there that we talk with, but sometimes the way they do things leaves you scratching your head.

We have a western cruise booked on RCCL in November, I'm going to send them an e-mail inquiring if there will be an itinarary change between now and then. One can only hope,,,,

We're doing the Mariner - western - in November, and I would love it if they would stop at Costa Maya.

I'm still planning on a Christmas cruise that is scheduled to stop in Costa Maya and I have no reason to think that it won't.

It does look like they are doing a bang-up job, and that the outcome will probably be a pleasant one.

Though, I must admit, I think some of us will still miss the Majahual that WAS. That Majahual was so NOT the Stepfordville that so many US beachside communities are trying so hard to become. It was so... organic, for lack of a better word.

I am pleased so far with how it turning out. And I know just north of the port Chac-Chi will reopen and will still be quite rustic.
