Does the X1 card go for kids to and can you get fruit drinks if you buy it or is it just for the restraunt.Also I will be going on the costa fortuna on march 16 has anyone been on it?

Hi, I've only been on the Magica, sister to the Fortuna on a 7 day Eastern Caribbean, March 18th last year. The ship is exactly the same as the Fortuna, just the theme is different.

The X1 card can only be used in the dining room or buffet at lunch and dinner times, only. It cannot be used in the Specialty Restaurant. You must purchase it at least 14 days prior to your sailing date.
I'll have to seek an answer from Costa as to whether the X1 can be purchased for kids. If they can, and I doubt it, they will not be served alcoholic beverages on board. A passenger must be 21 years and older to be served alcohol on board Costa's ships when departing from a US port.

There's a card for those underage passengers called the Boys & Girls Card, which limits them to 20 non-alcoholic drinks including fruit beverages for $59. I'll have a definite answer for you on Monday morning.

Good morning, I just got off the phone with a Costa Rep., and just as I thought, but wanted to be sure, you cannot purchase the X1 drink card for kids. The Boys & Girls card must be bought for them.
