Thread: Roll Call - Costa Forturna 3/9/2008

Hi,

My DH and I along with my DS and BIL and a couple they know are on this sailing of the Eastern Caribbean. Is anyone else going? We would love to get to know some fellow passenger and talk about the cruise.
This will be our 5th cruise, the first with Costa, and our first trip to the Eastern Caribbean. Our group ranges in age from mid 50's to late 60's, but still feel like "kids". Let me hear from you!

Hi - We are sailing the Western Caribbean on the Costa Fortuna 2-3-08. We learned of this cruise line from our Italian Club. We are sailing with five couples and there will be others on the ship from our club. We have sailed on Disney, Holland AMerica and Princes. We have never sailed on this cruise line and there isn't very much info about this line on any of the various boards. Do you know anything about something called the XI Drink Card. I have seen a little info about this but nothing that really explains what it is and how it works. Thanks for any info you might have. Hope you and your group enjoy your cruise. Olga

Hi dolphingirl, I won't be on this sailing but I cruised Costa this past March 18th - 25th 2007, on the Fortuna's sister ship the Costa Magica, also Eastern Caribbean. We sailed from Ft. Lauderdale, to San Juan, St Thomas, La Romana, Dom. Rep,and Grand Turk. The Mediterreana will be sailing that itinerary for the 2007-2008 season. Thanks Char - appreciate it - as I said - I'm new and still learning my way around these boards. I just type and hit the submit button and just hope it goes to where it's supposed to.......

We were all new once and had to find our way around! If you need any help just holler...anywhere...one of us will find you!

Hope you're having fun on the ship. I was at Port Everglades when you boarded for a ship inspection of The MSC Lirica, and saw the Fortuna.

Take lots of pictures and tell us all about the Fortuna after you're all rested up on your return.
