    Costa Concordia

It has been a very sad couple of days for the passengers and crew of the Costa Concordia.

    Prayers for all of them.

This is what all of us realize can happen if you cruise, but we all rely on well trained staff to keep us safe. This could have been so much worse. My heart goes out to those who are lost and have still to be found, those who have passed, and a speedy recovery to those injured. I am glad this is being investigated. I hope we will see the truth come out and the situation handled properly by corporate.

The early opinions seem to be that the ship is "irrecoverable".

    Welcome home John!!

Looking at the pictures -- she does appear to be too damaged to be "fixed" up and cruising again.
