Have / Will you cruise on Costa?

We cruised on them a long time ago when they were sailing to the Caribbean out of Florida and Marketing in the US. There was nothing negative about the cruise and I would not rule them out but I do no see cruising with them in the near future.

We cruised aboard Costa Fortuna in March 2009 from Port Everglades to Barcelona, via a week in the Caribbean and Madeira. The ship was beautiful. Languages are broadcasted in numerous languages, and from America it was a Euro ship, making everything aboard very expensive.


I finished up renaming the ship Costa Fortune.

We totally enjoyed our Costa cruises!

Certainly we may cruise on Costa again if we can find a 7 Night itinerary out of Florida what would work for us prior to a longer Princess cruise we have booked.

They still sail from Florida to the Caribbean. Actually, they sail from Miami, FL. Costa no longer sails from Port Everglades(Ft. Lauderdale). The ship is the Costa Atlantica. For the 2011-2012 Caribbean season, all voyages are 10 nights long.

We sailed on the Costa Deliziosa from the 22nd December to the 28th 2011 from Savona to Naples,Malta,Sardinia and Corsica and enjoyed the cruise.

Many people have accused Costa of not having lifeboat drills!! well ours lasted 30 minutes while wearing Lifejackets and was given in at least 5 languages, we both had a Red card with our cabin number on that was in our cabin when we arrived and had to hand in to the person in charge of our muster area to prove we were there, people who joined us in Naples i believe were shown a video and given a demo of how to put on a lifejacket and that was within the 24 hour allowable time period.

I have newer cruised on Costa but would. . Plan do cruise on costa just broken at 13 january 2012.

Hard is to find new favorite costa cruise ship and to do cruise. Hard forget the last.

No and no. And no recent incident had no bearing on my decision.

I've cruised with Costa just once in March, 2007 to the Eastern Caribbean on the Costa Magica. I would cruise with them again.
