Thread: Short cruises out of Ft.Lauderdale?

Does Costa have any short (3 - 5 Day) roundtrip cruises out of Ft.Lauderdale?

Always, we really liked our Costa Cruises but for one reason or another it's been quite a while since we've been on one.

Thinking that if I could find a short one that would return to Ft.Lauderdale the same day we embark on a longer cruise on Princess, it would at least allow us to try it once again.

My two cruise lines of interest for doing this are Costa and NCL ... so I'll also post this on the NCL board.

Costa has one short cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale;

1/2/11 - Costa Atlantica visiting Key West, Cozumel,& Grand Cayman

We've been on this ship and it's nice.

I've been to the Costa website and they don't have anything listed for later than January.

Actually, the only reason we haven't been on Costa in a long while is because their schedules always seem to come out much later than other cruise lines.

They're noted for only posting itineraries about 15 months in advance, while others post them 18 - 24 months in advance. Costa does not usually have any short cruises except in Europe. Any short ones outside of Europe are far and few between.

LuLu, they will begin sailing from Miami in January, 2011, and will no longer sail from Ft. Lauderdale after that.

You're welcomed, LuLu. Just so you all know, it starts with the January 7, 2011 sailing. The Jan 2, 2011 5 night W. Caribbean cruise will be the last from Ft Lauderdale.
They will have just one ship, the Costa Atlantica for the Caribbean 2010 - 2011 Season and beyond.
