Y'all are putting my mind at ease... at least a little! We're looking at the Magica in April 2007. Keep those comments coming! ;<)

    Cool

I Have cruised MSC, They are very Italian and European. I thought the shows were spectacular. I have not cruised Costa but would do it in a heartbeat. on the other hand I never found a cruise I didn't Like

I'm trying them March 18th, 2007, from Ft Lauderdale, so I'll let you know how it went. I'm sure it will be good.
I am going in knowing that the culture is different, just as if I was on a land vacation in Italy.

Just got back from my Costa Magica cruise yesterday morning, and I enjoyed it. I would say to you, try them. We had a great Cruise Director, Max. The crew is mostly Italian.

I was chatting with a crew member on our excursion in the Dominican Republic, and he was telling me that after the aquisition by Carnival, they began catering to the American clientle when the ships are in the US. The shows in the Urbino Theatre do reflect this, as well as the food

Hope you get a chance to read my Review before you leave, and that you enjoy the Magica.

Well said Jim. Someone on the Costa Magica last week, asked me which cruise line is my favorite, and I told them I didn't have a favorite, I loved all three cruise lines I've cruised with so far.
