Costa Cruises has announced successful trials of its new ships Costa Luminosa and Costa Pacifica ahead of their official launch in Genoa, Italy on 5 June.

The trial runs of the company's 13th and 14th cruise ships confirmed the operating efficiency of engines and various pieces of equipment.
