    Costa Cruise Line

I sailed the Costa Romantica back in 1997...it was a very beautiful ship. Service was good...food was okay...

They are offering some really good specials where kids sail for free, just pay the gov't taxes!

    For example...

Cat 4 Oceanview view room 12/18/05 for a 5 night sailing to the Western Caribbean...would be just $1293.64 for 2 adults and 1 child.

    Not a bad deal.

They are also offering the same sailing for Seniors at only $530.98 pp cabin total of $1061.96.

Prices include port charges and taxes...

If I had realized that Costa didn't charge for the kids...I would have booked with them, lol...

I remember taking my 1 year old on the RCI Voyager...paid a ridiculous price as we had the family stateroom...eeek!

I will post the cruiseline that offer discounts for kids in a general cruise thread...

I was on the Costa Romantica and would agree with your assessment.

Costa also allows you to book excursions, beauty and Spa treatments, wine and champagne, etc online.

    Also, a Costa review:

Ahh, 1 week from today, we'll be cruising the Costa Magica(2004).

Btw, she will be replaced in November '07 with her sister, the Costa Fortuna(2003), which will be sailing Caribbean itineraries for the first time in 2007- '08.
