ModernAgent reports, that Costa Cruises restyled operations and technical maintenance on four ships while in dry-dock in November and December at a cost of 15 million Euros, $21 Million.
According to ModernAgent, ships dry-docked were: The Costa Victoria, Costa Marina, Costa Concordia, and Costa Classica.
This was done to perform maintenance on the ship's technical systems and its furnishings. The hulls are completely cleaned and painted to prevent it from eroding and to improve its performance at sailing speeds."
ModernAgent also reported, that the public areas and cabins got new furnishings, carpeting, fabrics, and LCD-screen television sets. On the outer decks, the flooring was replaced with teak. After completing the dry-dock operations, the four ships departed for the 2007-2008 winter cruise season.
