Costa Drink Pricing For Members Residing Outside The USA

Hello fellow members and Costa Cruisers,

A few members who reside outside the United States of America (USA) have been requesting information concerning pricing of drinks, gratuiaties, etc. Please be advised, that Costa has informed me that anyone not residing in the USA will have to contact the Costa office in the country in which you live, as the prices are different here in the USA.

I am cruising on Costa Atlantica on 12/19 and am wondering about the X-1 drink package. My wife and I both do like to drink beer and wine, but is the X-1 worth the new price (about $16 per day)?

What time of day is it able to be used (lunch means what time, etc.)?
Is it worth it if we'll miss three lunches while on shore?

Please share any information you have, especially if you've actually used it recently on a Costa ship!!!

There is a lot conflicting/confusing information on the boards.

Ken (MD11F) is usually here late at night, so I'm sure he will see this tonight and answer you.

    X1 Drink Card Update.

New from Costa, the X1 drink Card pricing now varies with each sailing. If you are booked on a Costa cruise, please call your travel agent or Costa Cruise Lines for pricing for your cruise. You will need to provide your name, sail date and booking number.
If one person per cabin purchases the X1 Card, the second person must purchase the card also.
You can now use the X1 Card at the Buffet for lunch and dinner and in the Specialty Restaurant

The Specialty Restaurant is now on an a la carte basis. There is no longer a flat Cover Charge fee in this venue.

The Atlantica will be the only Costa cruise ship sailing the Caribbean season from S. Florida. There will no longer be two Costa ships during the Caribbean cruise season.
