Thread: drink deals on costa

We are a hard partying, group who are trying costa for the first time. We have spent the last 10 cruises on NCL. When on board we go by the addage that we will not see any of these people again, so fun is the primary goal. To that end can anyone tell me about the costa specials on Wine, or beer or other adult beverages.

Costa's Beverage Packages are as follows:

Wine Packages range from $144.90 to $159.00, which include 5 & 6 bottles of Italian wines per package, both red & white, 10 bottles of water per package , & in two packages, 1 bottle of Italian Spumante.

Individual Beverage Package (by the glass) $11.40* U.S.
Lunch and dinner beverage package by the glass:
Beverage package can be ordered and paid before the cruise only and is for Individual Guests only (Specialty restaurants not included).

Includes white and red wines or draft beer, soft drinks, bottled water, all served by the glass in the Main Restaurant or Self-Service Restaurant during lunch and dinner.

Soda Cards are $59.00, and include other non alcoholic beverages, but you are limited to 20 drinks. Service charges are included in all prices.

Boys and Girls Card $59.00*
20 non-alcoholic drinks, selections include:
Soft drinks
Virgin Delights
Fresh squeezed citrus fruits
Iced tea
Milk shake with fresh fruit
Assorted juices
Syrups
These are for Caribbean 7 night sailings.

Wow, a soda card for $59 and you only get 20? Thats a pretty profit I would say.

First time i've seen this kind of offer. Please explain.

I looked on the Costa web site, but saw no mention of these options. Is it there...how do I find it?

Titimejias, the individual drink package, called X1, mentioned in post # 2, gives you unlimited glasses of drinks per day, at $11.40 per person, per day, and is available on all sailings.
It includes white and red wines or draft beer, soft drinks, bottled water, all served by the glass in the Main Restaurant or Self-Service Restaurant during lunch and dinner.
It must be purchased 14 days before your cruise date.
X1 code will be printed on the passenger's Costa Badge, if you do order this package 14 days prior to sailing.
You must call Costa Special Services at 1-800-445-8020, ext. 5009 to order.

Thank You. That will help us. We were getting sick of seven and eight hundred dollar bar bills. Youl'd be surprised what can be consumed at lunch and dinner. Just leave the bottle and uncork the next

Well, whatever you decide to do, enjoy the cruise. And btw, lots of people have those big bar bills. That would be hard for me to swallow
