Helen, I had many of these on the Magica. They are great. There were many sweets on the Midnight Gala buffet.

I think they don't advertise the way CCL, RCI and NCL do here in America...

They do offer some great specials though...maybe some day again...

The only place I remember a lot of smoking on the Magica, was in the Casino. Because the ships operate from US ports, they are complying with smoking rules on ships such as Carnival, HAL, RCI, etc.
Also, when the Costa ships are sailing from US ports to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, the cruises are geared toward the North American market, therefore you will experience entertainment in the theater, Lido deck, etc, just like those onboard Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess ships.
We had many Europeans, Russians, Poles, Danes, Scandinavians, Italians, Americans(many from the Ft. Lauderdale area, and other US states)etc on board. It was truly an International cruise.
