Is it worth to abroad Costa Allegra???

I am from HK., since Costa Allegra will begin her Shanghai (CHINA) cruises in July. I am considering to abroad Costa Allegra.

She will depature from Shanghai and visting Japan and Korea (totally 2 cities) and then back to Shanghai.

This 5 days cruises will cost around HK$6500. Is it worth to join this cruises?(Since I will go along and I need to pay the surcharge) Also, is the ship actually very old?
    Upcoming Cruises:
Costa Classica 09/11/2009 6D5N Asia cruise

I hope you get some answers soon, I have never sailed Costa!! Seems like a lot of money for only two ports, but maybe not for that area!! Good luck!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Thumbs down

How much is HK$6500 in US$? Well lets see,$1,699.00 US =HK$13,189.85, so this is actually a cheap cruise, wouldn't you say? Since you are from Hong Kong, it's a lot of money for you since you earn, live, work and spend your currency, and you're only calling at two ports. If you can afford that and the surcharge you are referring to, them go for it, it's a 5 day cruise.

    Around US$820.

And this price is the average price, it means that some cabins (inside)will be cheaper, some cabins (suit) will be more expensive

    Her profile is here...

Granted this was before she had her recent changes done, but it will give you an idea. She is quite a popular ship from the various reviews I have read. She, along with Costa Marina, have done alot of foreign charters over the years and have always been well received by her passengers and crew.
