We just completed our first cruise on Princess. It was April 13 - 23 to the Panama Canal.
The cruise was magnificent so I am not here to stir the pot.
We were near the stern of the ship of the port side of the Caribe deck. Our room had vibrations the entire trip whether docked or sailing. It was more intense while under way. In particular the bed shook/ vibrated all the time.
My question is whether this is a problem anyone else has noticed on the Coral ?
Secondly is this a problem on any cruise ship when your stateroom is virtually at the stern of the ship.

Hi Ben - We recently did a Southern Caribbean on HAL Volendam and were very near the stern on the port side with no noticable vibrations at all. We were on Deck 6, the Verandah deck.

Speed, sea and wind conditions can affect when vibrations occur. I sure if you look hard enough you will find someone who has experienced vibrations on the Volendam.

That's right flacruiser, those conditions will cause vibrations, we were on the Destiny near the stern, and did experience some minor vibrations on a few occasions. Top speed and some choppy water are a good combination.
We had C727(last cabin astern) on Island Princess last year round trip to Hawaii and it was fine going over but bounced all the way back.We would actuslly slide out of bed from the vibration.That was our forth cruise on Island and our 17th cruise overall so we have had some cruising experience.It was our last cruise to Hawaii.
We just got off the Coral on Monday 22nd. The only time I felt any vibration was in the gym doing floor exercises other than that, the ship often felt like it wasn't even moving

Ben, we were also on the Coral April 13. We had C603, no problem whatsoever....last year on the Island we were in E625, toward the stern, and also did not notice huge vibration. We always get aft balcony cabins on RCI, and do notice more vibration, but we don't mind....love the view from back there. You are right, it was a great cruise! Sorry we did not meet beforehand online or on the ship...
