Rosie, you're everywhere!!!! Wow, I'll never catch up with you but then I've always been in your shadow. I didn't realize you had started a thread over here. Great.

I was just soooo excited to find a "nice" place, I got carried away I guess!

Rosie, I thought this was busy season for you? Have you given up working and taken up full time job posting here?

I'm sorry you can't join us on this cruise ED, but I'm looking forward to meeting you on Century in November!

Just in case you were curious. I don't know how. However, they have the group cruise forum and there you can have your Owls cruise thingie and then you can have different threads within your thingie. Oh it is so hard to explain. Click the link on my signiture. The one that says WYWH in the green. Anyway....you will see we have the dinner preference, the ongoing party, the who's going, the picture thread...........

I'll be getting off

as you folks are lining up to get on. We're on the reposition cruise to bring the ship up to Port Liberty from San Juan the previous week. Like you, canderson, we're making our first visit to St. Maartin.....heard it described as one of the "safest" feeling islands in the Caribbean. (BTW, still have that FV guarantee in 8183).

Gonna miss not getting to meet some of you fine folks.
Rick

Shame we'll just be crossing paths at the terminal. Good to see you here. As you may have guessed, many of us have sorta "moved".

Interesting to hear St. Maarten described that way. We've always felt that way in Grand Cayman, whatever its other faults. When we first visited there, they still had negative unemployment (jobs for everybody, and they had to import workers to fill otherwise unfilled jobs), and that sort of economic stability is bound to change the tone of any place. Will be interesting to see if we can puzzle out how St. Maarten gets that way. I'm sure we're going to enjoy it.

Oh, and hang on, Rick -- don't let 'em pry that cabin number loose from you!
