The deal on the 07 TA is what I am using to justify the high price of this one. If I average out the cost of both, it is easier to take. Plus, the ports on this one look really interesting. Hope we make them!

I've been waiting to get our cabin numbers verified, but we are onboard for this one. We are supposed to have 8166 and our son Mike is going to be UK Phil's roomate. I know they have an aft CC, but don't know the number yet.

Don't forget when comparing prices that this one is two days longer than 07 so it's not quite as bad as it sounds.

Terri, the baby is gorgeous. It's amazing how they occupy your every thought isn't it? Many blessings to your family.

Leave it to Joanie to be logical. That does make the comparison a little bit better.

And Susan, you're right. On one hand, the price for the 2008 TA is a little higher than the last year or so of "normal" pricing, but on the other hand, we got a fantastic deal on the 2007 TA. So one great deal plus one OK deal = two pretty good ones. I'm satisfied with two pretty good deals. Plus, we'll have great company on both cruises.

That's what I've been thinking as well. When I first heard the prices I had a knee jerk reaction of "NO WAY"! But then I thought about what a good deal this year's TA was and figured if I split the difference this wasn't such a bad deal. Plus there's already so many great folks signed up I had to get in on it. I may even go ahead and get a concierge cabin, I got some wonderful news this morning. My renter wants to buy my house if he can get financed. That would be quite a nice nest egg for me and will also free up more money to go into my cruising fund!
