What a great idea, Bob and Leo, and thanks for doing this. Garry, thank you too for all your work on the name tags and keeping up the list... I am so excited to get going!! Hmmm... maybe a martini tonight out on the deck to practice...

What I can do is provide a simple, easy-to-find place to use to link to all the various places people upload their pictures to. Since most of you have (or can) bookmark the website, I'll leave it up for a few months after we get back and you can go there to see if anyone from the cruise has added a place to share their pictures. All without having to scroll through the rollcall to look.

Once you have your location for the pictures (or simply where your albums will be), please send me the information. I have created a page on the website to store the links. Go to the home page and click on Post-Cruise Pictures. I've linked it here so you can see what information I would like to have (CC ID, name, link to your pictures starting point and any special notes that may be needed or that you want to mention) but this post will fade away shortly.

All of the various places have unique capabilities/limitations so I have none I particularly recommend for or against. I've included our albums as a start. Feel free to send me your links now if you have them, but please share your pictures after the cruise. If you have never uploaded pictures before, think of the possibilities. Instead of just the mere 400-500 pictures someone takes on the cruise, they (and you) could have thousands to look through to relive the cruise and might find the perfect picture of that spot you loved and didn't quite capture as well as you would have liked.

I agree it's a good idea. When Leo first suggested it, he though I could put up a place for the pictures on the website and have people e-mail them to me. A good start, but in that form, not practical. It evolved to this version and I hope poeple embrace the idea. Think of how many pictures from a cruise we can look at!

I plan to do it for all our cruises. Great pictures, by the way. If it's OK, I will add your link on the Connie webpage.

Larry says that is just fine... but it is already on the Connie Roll board on CC... feel free to use it!

Susie - Tell Larry many thanks for posting those fun pics. Sure brings back memories both of Barcelona and the Connie. Really tends to get us in "excitement overload"....a fun good thing

What time of year were you in Barcelona when the pics were taken?


The idea of a place to post pics sounds marvelous. Think I'll have to leave that to Tom to wrap his brain around. I'm a recent convert to a digital camera...can we say slow on the uptake and I'm still working on figuring out how to use the camera Maybe I'll become very good prior to the cruise! If not....at least I'll have everyone else's great photos to enjoy

Yes, we had a lot of fun on the Connie, didn't we? Looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Enjoy learning to use your new camera!

We were in Barcelona just about the same time last year, almost to the day... we got on the Millennium for a Med cruise on September 10th, got off the 24th. We had so much fun and saw so many amazing sites. Ready to get back to Europe!

Wish our docs would come; I know we don't really need them (at least Larry claims we don't) but since most everyone else got theirs, I hope ours didn't get lost!

They arrived today in the mail... we were beginning to wonder if they somehow got lost!

Bob and I leave for the airport for our trip to Barcelona 3 weeks from today!!!!! It won't be long now!!!!
