Hey, good to see a roll call going already for this one and so many familiar faces going too I'm coming and am reliably informed by my travel agent (Joanie) that I have a cabin, which is good

Reggie, congratulations on the doc dance. I know you love Mercury and you will have a wonderful time, I'm sure. There are quite a few going on Mercury soon, not least our winos, oops sorry, fellow Constellation cruisers

OK, just to put the cat amongst the pigeons even more, I received an email today with details of 2008/2009 cruises and it includes a 12 night Transatlantic on Constellation leaving September 13th Here's a link:

Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland: Destinations: Transatlantic: Transatlantic, Westbound (12 nights)

Hi Phil,

I so glad you're going to be on the '08 cruise with us!

Now about the email you received from X. It's really confusing! If I'm reading it correctly, then the Connie isn't leaving until the 12th? And it arrives in Miami?

Interesting.

Hugs,

Karyn

Hi Karyn. We are going to have a great time on this trip and before that in September this year and I can't wait to see you and Bill again

I don't get that web page either. They can't spell La Palma right either, so perhaps that's an indication of its validity!

Susan & Phil, I sure hope they don't change the itinerary...I too was looking forward to seeing Lisbon. But if it does change, then we just roll with it. And a southern route will be warmer. We'll just make lots of lemonade...and of course add our vodka too it!!

Hi Phil. That is confusing, isn't it. And it's a shorter cruise.

Hi everyone!

The New England sailings are still listed and open for bookings next September, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Which means that page can't be right, Phil. If it were they would have to overnight express the Connie to NY for the beginning of her New England/Canada sailings. Perhaps it is the itinerary for one of the other X ships, like the Century...

Actually, the Century does have a very similar itinerary in December..

hmmm, southern route from coast of Africa to Florida in Sept = hurricane path. Better bring extra vodka!
