O.K., Char. I got us the corporate jet. I was afraid the weather between here & there might be too bad for flying. I was wrong. We'll do fine. I guess we'd better head on out to GNV and start our trek to pick up all our friends. This is going to be a heck of a party.

Neal, yes I want the top bunk. 10 high sounds fun. A little scary but still fun. When I was a kid, and went to summer camp every summer, I never got the top bunk. It always bothered me. Now that I'm all grown up (well, mostly grown up), I insist on the top bunk. I even put bunk beds in one of my spare rooms just so I could sleep on top if I felt like it. Yes, I know I'm crazy and my hubby will confirm that fact.

I've ordered tons of liquor to be delivered to Joe's. Let's get in the air. There's a party waiting for us. Those of you who want to fly first class, courtesy of Joe, have a great flight and tell Spike hello from the pink bird.

PARTY UPDATE

I've arranged for the Stones to be here for entertainment. It conflicted with their schedule, but when I told them the treasurer would be here and mentioned a price, they agreed. I've also arranged for some guy named Emeril to cater the dinner. Don't know if he's any good, but he sure is expensive.

Pungo, the first shipment of booze arrived this morning. What a big truck!

Lest we not forget the great Hurricane of 1938, which started off the coast of Africa, coming across the Atlantic. This Hurricane destroyed all of Long Island, NY before moving up the coast, devistating communities all the way up past Rhode Island and into Canada before dissipating.
I just saw a show on the History Channel about this storm last weekend. The news of the world was on WWII, but in the neighborhoods effected, there was nothing but news of this terrible storm, which did far worse damage than Katrina.

The fear is that this could happen again, and with record population living on the east coast, compared to the 30's, another storm like this would be a travisty.

We do have colder waters over here on our side, but at least we don't have the Hurricane threat to worry about!
