    How true, my son in law is Canadian and he is unfailingly polite when pushing my DH's buttons.

    I can just see the SAC (Strategic Air Command) in Canada and the person who has the responsibility to push the red "launch nuclear weapons" button. He would probably be very apologetic about it when he pushes the button. Heck, Canada probably doesn't even have a button like that.
