Thread: Calling all cat lovers!

Who else has a cat or just loves cats? I have seen a couple feline avatars, but am sure that there are more kitty fanatics. How many cats do you have? Do you wish you had a cat? Are you a shelter volunteer, veterarinary clinic employee, cat show judge, or pet sitter? Do you have a cat-themed room in the house, cat collection, cat books and magazines, etc.? If you do have cats, how many do you live with?

The big gray and white cat is Wilbur. He weighs 16.5 pounds because he eats too much. My other cat, 11-pound Patricia, is an American shorthair tabby who was adopted at age seven weeks 14 years ago. They have very different purrsonalities, but act like husband and wife, giving each other baths and massages when not sleeping, eating, or playing together.

Now it is your turn, cat lovers! Tell me about your adorable furkids so I can see who else on this board is a cat lover.

I have 2 cats and they were both strays.



This is Frankie, short for Frankenstein, sunbathing. He would prefer to be on the other side of the door tho. He is 4 yrs old and weighs 5 lbs.



This is Frankie trying to hide and Amore. Amore is a Himalyan and she is 12 yrs old and weighs 8 lbs and most of that is hair.

These two run this household .

That one reminds me of Patricia with the white chin and chest. Does Tigger have white paws too?

BTW I changed my avatar to my first cat, Emily, who lived with me for 12 years and leftr a big pawprint on my heart. I thought both cats who are still living are in my signature, so this way the avatar matches it.

Andrea- we are down to one cat. We lost Katt last year after she was with us for almost 20 years.

We had two cats, but sadly both of them disappeared this summer. We believe there are coyotes in the area.

Now you know why it is important to keep kitties inside where they belong. If you are willing to do that, someday you can get two more cats.
