Thread: Calling all cat lovers!

We had Skeeter at the vet for blood test. The vet tried everything to get him to eat wet cat food. Skeeter refused everything they offered. We tried again last week but this time we took some of his kibble up there. Yup. Did not eat anything else but did eat that.

Vet says he is stabilized on 5 units of insulin twice a day. He is to the point where I hold out the needle and he jumps into the chair for his shot. Part of his incentive is that he gets two cat treats (hard and dry) whenever he gets his shot.

You are lucky he responds like that.
Walker totally freaks when I put the flea medicine on the back of his neck once a month.

I have a stupid cat. He is motivated by attention and food.

Please don't let him see the computer screen where you typed that he is stupid. He wouldn't like reading stuff like that about himself

If you knew Skeeter you would know he is too dumb to read. Lovable, cute, cuddly, but dumb.

My cat is quite literate. She helps me type on the computer, and when I do a crossword puzzle, she has to get a very close look at it. Sometimes that means she must sit on the paper.

Know that feeling. Skeeter rearranging my desk and taking notes......
